Red Room

Red Room is where our pre-school children are based (this is all children that are in the year before they start primary school).  The play and learning environment is divided into different areas.  For example, 'The Home Corner' - a designated area designed to resemble a familiar household environment.  It has resources that may be familiar to them from home such as a kitchen area, play food, pots and pans etc.  This area supports children's imaginative play, social skills and language development etc.

Other areas include mark-making, loose parts, construction, small world etc.

The children have access to the toilet area and also free-flow outdoor play.

Red Room supports children to become more independent, learning the necessary skills to get ready for their next journey to primary school.
