Outdoor Adventurers/Forest School

During a child's time in pre-school they will have access to our outdoor adventurers sessions.  Our site is situated in woodland on Milby Primary School grounds.

Outdoor Adventurers is a nature based learning experience in a woodland setting, sharing the Forest School ethos.  Children experience an inspirational environment that builds on their self-esteem , confidence and being active and healthy.  The sessions are long term (4-6 weekly), so the children get to know the rules, boundaries and the environment well.  The sessions are run by experienced leaders who hold a Paediatric First Aid Certificate.  a Qualified Forest School Leader will attend when riskier activities are undertaken.  For example, campfires, using tools, tree climbing etc.

Children will participate in a variety of activities including bug hunts, tree climbing, learning about plants and trees, bush craft, using tools, toasting and cooking on camp fires etc
